This unit was originally a designner showhouse with extremely modern finishes.
Design Matters Home staged the loft with modern and contemporary furniture and furnishings to expose the unique qualities of this home.
We definitely wanted the unit to appeal immediately to buyers interested in the boldness of the modern style. At the same time we toned down some parts of the bold finishes with our staging to help a broader base of perspective buyers also visualize themselves living here as well.
Appealing to multiple types of buyers was key for a sale.
The color palette was dictated by the existing finishes in the loft, which were different from room to room.
The kitchen had orange cabinets and a modern crystal chandelier which we punched up by using red and orange fruit, and glass wear to compliment the chandelier.
The tall loft height celings allowed us to add some drama to the dining room through an oversized mirror leaned against the wall.
In the living room, art was chosen to compliment the kitchen colors due to the open space plan. Oversized chess pieces were used as floor accessories for pizaz and to fit the scale of the room.
White and black décor with red accents (pillows, art, and lamp shades) were used in staging the master bedroom to compliment the zebra striped carpet.
White bathrooms were staged with white towels and green accents (candles and greenery) for a clean, relaxing spa effect.
