Helly Duncan
Working with clients to make their spaces more functional and beautiful is Helly's goal and the drive behind Design Matters Home.
Helly graduated from Colorado State Univeristy with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Apparel Merchandising and she has an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Interior Design from Arapahoe Community College. As a past member of the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the International Interior Design Association, Helly performed roles as Director of the Denver City Center and as Vice President of Membership, Rocky Mountain Region. Helly has also been a guest instructor at the Rocky Mountain College of Art +Design on multiple occasions.
The roots of Helly's design background are at the Denver Design District learning the vendor side of the design industry, a degree in interior design, and working for a model home interior design firm. Thirteen years of running Design Matters Home has given her a proven track record for customer satisfaction.
Outside of being an interior designer, Helly lives a very active lifestyle. Helly loves spending time with her family and running. Helly has completed multiple marathons, half marathons, 10ks, and 5ks over the last few years and has her sights on running in the Boston Marathon in the next year or two.
